A three month old kitten climbs the post on a poster bed and the ceiling fan?

catches the kitten and throws it in the corner. The owner notices blood in the stool the next day, and takes the kitten to the vet. The vet feels bones in legs and ribs, says nothing is broken. Shouldn't the vet have x ray ed the kitten to see if any internal organs are torn? The owner says kitten is running around, jumping and is sure it is alright. But in the wild a kitten who shows signs of illness would be killed by the other cats, so I think the kitten may be acting as normal as it can, Am I right. I think if it continues to show blood in stool, it should be xrayed.

Kittens can really be quite tough, and they are quite light, and their bones are not rigid like in people.

But if blood in the stool continues, then I would take the kitten back to the vet for a more thorough diagnosis. But quantify the blood in the stool. Just a tiny smear, and that is quite different from a coating of blood on the stool. The latter is more of a concern.
